Whats It Worth-Teksid Engine

I am thinking about buying this from a buddy. What should I be paying?
98 cobra complete engine (no pcm or anything) 70k miles. has a wrist pin noise but I don't need the engine I need the parts (block cams heads intake etc)

I'd say 1400. 3-500 for heads, 5-600 for block, and 200 for cams. But that's just me. How's your buddy? Still any interest in my car?

hes recovering fine but he has a visiting nurse that his insurance isn't paying for. his lawyers are working on it still. basically all id need off this motor is the block and cams for my long term foxbody project but he won't split it up. i can get the whole thing for WAAAY less than 1400 bucks. should i pick it up, take what i need, and part it?

Yea I would if that's all you need. Depending on what your paying for it you could probably cover your costs by selling the rest. Just like you got it free.
