What's in a name.....................& did anyone notice ?

MY 2011 window sticker...............& a 2013 MY sticker.
To my knowledge, the 2007 thru 2012 MY had a vehicle description as, " Shelby ",the 2013/14 MY vehicle description is " Mustang ".
Don't know the reason for the change ?

My thoughts? Its a mustang either way just a variation. So it does not bother me one bit.

maybe it has to do with Shelby not being around anymore :shrug: possibly as a show of respect by Ford or possibly because Shelby can no longer provide input for the car bearing his name

Can't say what you saw on line, but when you get the car, your vehicle description will be " Mustang "..

Have looked @ 820 & 821A 2013/14 MY GT500's, every one I looked at said " Mustang ". Wonder if one of the below posters would show the upper LH corner of their window sticker showing something besides " Mustang "......if for no other reason but to prove me wrong !!

My local dealer has a loaded 2014 coupe with PP and TP that was built after mine and it says Mustang.
Mine looks like this.
