So I'll be in Boston for a week for business. Staying at the Hilton in Dedham. I will be there Thursday thru Monday.

Any suggestions on some night stuff to do? And is my Yankees hat welcome?

lol, the yankee's hat thing isn't a big deal like it used to be. Once the Red Sox started winning, people stopped with the whole Yankee's suck thing.

As for what to do, you'll be about 30 mins outside of Boston. Taking a trip in to see some of the sights in downtown Boston would be a good way to kill some time over the weekend.

If you are looking for local things to do near your hotel, check out Legacy place ( in dedham ) and Patriots place. Lots of eating options and stuff to do at night.

Consider Little Italy. If you like Italian food, there are a number of great Italian restaurants. Great Italian pastry shops, too. Oh, and then there are the seafood restaurants along the water front area. Stop at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and the Frost Ice Bar (world’s largest permanent indoor ice bar) located in the Marketplace.

You mean the North End Right? Thats what we call it. The North End has some of the best restaurants. Parking sucks in there though. If you are going in I would do public transportation. Dedham has a commuter rail station I think and that takes you into South Station. From there you can get to other parts of the city easily. Patriot Place in Foxboro is ok, but it's nothing special. I'd go to Boston. You could see a show at the theater district

If you drive shop around for parking. A lot of them offer one rate during the day and then after 5pm it's a flat fee. Parking is a total rip off in Boston though especially if there is an event going on. That's why I say take the commuter rail into South Station. There you can get the Red line or walk to some of the places.

Thanks guys.

Where is this F1 place? I think it will be #1 on the list.

You will have a blast just try to go on a weekend mite be kinda busy but the races will be full, I think they let 12 karts run at a time which is great and all the karts are tracked and you get a print out of your performance at the end of each race. One good pointer i can give you is dont use the brakes unless really needed lol the karts are on rails and can corner really well.

Lmao you're gonna be literally 2 minutes from my house at the Hilton. +1 to F1 boston, place is a blast! It just feels short though but its a great time.

If you have a sweet tooth, I suggest Max Brenner on Boyleston street, dessert is amazing there. Top of the Hub if you have some extra $$, talk about a view.

North End...you gotta go to Mike's Pastry and get a cannoli. Worth the wait, stay to the left, it moves faster

Boston is definitely more appreciated in comfortable walking whether...lots of History in this city! Sadly the time of year your business trip is won't work in your favor, but definitely some fun things to do. I'd say your best bet is going out for some good food. As stated, the North End is a great spot and Hanover Street is where all the famous places are (Mikes Pasty, etc.). Duck tours are cool too because you really get a history lesson on the city, but I'd save that for the next warmer visit
