Thanks for posting that pic, you have just made me change my mind on 17's and you have made my mind up on the 18's and the look that I have been looking for.

No problem man.
18" Saleens look killer on just about all Mustangs until the S197 came out and 18" just became too small.

That is just pure sex. I'm about ready to order 18" FR500 rims, 9" front, 10" rears and its nice to see the different thoughts on rear tire size. I like Nitto so I'm leaning towards th 275-35-18 NT555 for the front and now I'm thinking BFG 295's for the rear until I saw these Michelin 315's. Dang, decisions, decisions.

9/10 go with 275/295 - the difference in OD won't be that noticeable. If you're a stickler for flush tires on rims, then the 315 30 18 might not be for you since you'll have some sidewall bulge. It's really an ideal size for a 10.5-11" wide rim. But you will get a lower profile look than you would with a 295 35.

I am also a stickler for matching tires, if anything i'd do a street tire in front, and DR's in back. Two different brands of street tires would bother me.

NICE! Looks identical to mine, minus wheels ha. Are your running 18x9 and 18x10 replicas? I am looking into that size wheels with 315bfgs, if i can find them! I am wondering if that tire would fit the 10" wheel fine

Are 255/40/18 to small for the fronts with the saleen rim? Checked the tire calculator and they are a bit smaller than the fronts now *245/45/17*. The package I am looking at comes with 295.35.18 rear and 255/40/18.

I'm getting saleen rims for my 04 GT. 18x9 front 18x10 rear. The tires they want to sell me are 245-40 front and 275-35 rear. Does that sound right ? It doesn't to me.

Since the Nitto's run on the narrow side, I'd think they'd make for a pretty good fit on the 10" width, no? The sidewalls were flatter than a 12 year old on my old 17x10.5's so methinks bulge on an 18x10" wouldn't be all that much.
