I've been asking for DRs advice but now I need some new tires for my oem 18in wheels... what tire size are you guys going with?

275/40/18s?
Looking to put something a little better than the oem 235s....opinions/advice please.

Thanks

a 255 wide tire would be best. A 275 would kill your contact patch, possibly cause uneven wear and give worse stability through turns.

18X8 is just too narrow for a 275 IMHO.

For these tires, just a regular tire to drive on but better traction than the little 235 junkers.... I have an extra set of wheels to toss some DRs on....

I know everyone will freak out but I ran nitto 555r's in 305/40/18 on my stock wheels. Yes they bulged and yes you feel a little bit of wash out in a corner, but once it set I could rip through corners just fine.

Sure did and dead hook anywhere! Manufactures give recommended wheel sizes for tires. Ever seen a lifted truck with 35/12.50 on a 10" wheel or is that not gonna fit either?

Next question, run those front and rear or stagger and go with oem 235s up front? It'd be nice to be able to rotate tires lol
Run those on all 4 corners. Car will be much more balanced, and a 235 tire is just stupid to run on these cars, period.

Yes, Ford, I'm looking at you....
