Im looking into getting a set of TF wheels soon and would like to get 19x9 and 19x10.5. I need to know who makes tires that will fit my cobra which still has the IRS. Will i have any problems with rubbing? i currently run 18x10 with a 305 nitto which fits fine i could easily run a 315 on that rim.
REALLY NEED SUGGESTIONS ON REAR TIRES
If possible i'd like to still run a drag radial like the nt05.

can i fit the 335/30/19? on the back?

my irs is stock right now.

Also what should i use for the fronts as well.

if you could include links thats great.

I run Michelin Pilot Sport 2's. Vice spending an arm and a leg for them, I bought them with 80+% tread on eBay. Front are 275/30's and Rear are 305/30's and they look awesome, IMO of course. My 19" TF's have the stock offset in the rear and fit perfect without a spacer and no rubbing. I also run H&R race springs with one ISO in the rear and coil overs in the front. The 305 tire I have is 12.3" wide and looks huge. It's as wide or wider than some 315's. You will not be able to run a Drag Radial unless you want to run the 27.36" tall NT05R tire, which would look terrible IMO. Nitto is the only company making the 19" DR's right now but they don't have a good size for our cars yet. Here's a shot of my car. Good luck with your purchase. You will love the TF's.

Thank you for the post saleencobra.

The 335/30-19 NT05 Max Performance is pretty aggressive for your setup and will require modifications to fit. Also, the approved rim width range for the NT05 in size 335/30-19 is 11.5" to 12.5" As far as a drag radial goes, Nitto will be releasing their NT05R Drag Radial in size 345/30-19 and shouldn't be mounted on wheel narrower than 12". This size is even larger than the 335/30-19 NT05 Max Performance. That being said, the most ideal sizes for your set up are 275/30-19's for the front and 305/30-19's for the rear like TOROJNKY mentioned.

A few great models to look into are the Nitto Invo, Hankook Ventus V12 Evo, and the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. All these models are designed for supior dry and wet traction during the summer months. Here are the links with some additional information on each model.

I hope this information helps. If we can be of further assistance please let us know.
