Ok so I'm starting a new thread here to hopefully get some more help. Back ground here, perfectly good running set up: gen 4 2.9, fore return system, all the standard bolt ons, tuned by 04sleeper. Tore down to do head studs, put it all back together with the same exact parts except the head studs, j2fab 270amp alt and new valve covers with the passenger side breather in the back. I have since put it together twice. Checked all vac lines, port at the bottom of the intake is plugged, bypass seems to be operating, all plugs gapped and rechecked, all electrical connections checked, breathers, blower has oil, it seems to spin freely by hand, reloaded the tune just to make sure. If I left anything out just ask. When i fire the car it wont start the first couple if trys and when it finally catches it sounds very sick. It will idle around 3-400, idle surges, the blower screams, I can hear a backfire every so often, smells of raw fuel, wont run without the blower belt, unplug the iac and it immediately dies, only shows 2lbs of vac. I dont hear anything that sounds broken (metal, tapping ect...) I dont hear a vac leak (figure you would hear it for it to be causing this much trouble. The only thing I haven't done is separate the blower from the intake and look at the rotors to see if the are contacting the housing. Not sure how this would just happen but. So if anyone has any suggestions as to what to look for or ideas I'm all open. I've done this a few times so I'm not new to it but I guess I could have missed something. Here is a vid of what it sounds like
