Your head unit powers (2) 6x8 coaxial speakers up front and (2) 6x8 full range speakers in the rear, all 4 ohm. Good replacements are easy to come by. Your front <2 ohm 8" dual voice coil shallow mount door subwoofers each have their own 2-channel amplifier, rated @ 2 ohms. Impedance matching will be a challenge and good luck finding a good replacement speaker with the same specs. (Note: the 8" subwoofer magnets are bolted inside the door panel, so you can't just unscrew and remove them without removing the entire door panel) If I felt like tinkering with the sound system, I would go full custom: 5-1/4 component plates in place of the front 6x8 coaxials, 6-1/2" mid/subwoofers in place of the 8" door subwoofers, and quality 6x8 coaxials in the rear, all driven by 1 or 2 quality amps. For now, I am content with my Shaker 1000 listening to tunes at 3/4 volume when I want to rock out... but most of the time, I am listening to my Whipple whine or exhaust note from my Borlas.
