Just wondering what the masses are using for thier shifter/ball combo? I recently picked up the mgw shifter for my t-56 magnum xl cause I had grown accustomed to the return spring in my race spec mt-82 shifter and wanted that same 2-3 shift feel back again.. I'm not too impressed with how plain the mgw shiftball looks that came with his shifter and was wondering about other options out there..

I like the ball it comes with..... Mgw makes a short throw for the magnum but i like the way the oem shifter feels!!!!
MGW ftw with my t56...
Does the mgw shift Pretty good on the Tremec? Does it install by just removing the console and the 4 Mounting bolts?
Also curious how short the throw is with the MGW?
Get a weighted knob. You'll thank me later. I would recommend Flossy, but I'm not too happy with how mine is right now. So TWM would be a good choice.

They are company who manufacture weighted knobs. I have a Flossy heavyweight in my car on the MT82, and I love it. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to drive. However, like I said, if I were to do it again I'd go TWM. http://www.twmshiftknobs.com/
