I am installing some QTP cutouts and going to use a T-Tap connector on the 12V in the center console for the switch. I was wondering if anyone knows the AWG size for the wires so I can use the correct connector. Any help is appreciated.

One Trick 5.0,

Welcome to the forums!

Disclaimer: not an electric whiz, just a weekend wrencher.

Most wiring inside the cabin is 16 or 18 gauge. 16 gauge is 0.065" dia. and is pretty common; 18 gauge is 0.049" dia. and is OK for lighter current loads. Since the QTP cutouts have motors, I would recommend 16 ga. wiring.

That's all I got, lol.

One Trick 5.0,

You're welcome.

If you have the time, it would be swell of you to share with your fellow forum members a little vid of those cutouts open. The unmuffled rumble of the Coyote is a beautiful thing. :)

Thank you.

Chris
