Maybe this has been done before maybe not (if it has it can be deleted); but let's throw a "what if?" scenario up and have some fun with it. Obviously keep it clean but honest; what you would do with it? Would you hide it from others? Would you flaunt it? Does the amount you would win make a difference to you? Go crazy and have fun with the responses!

Yes the amount matters. 1 million isn't **** really. Someone will come in to argue that, but I don't care.

1 million? **** it, I'll post pics of the winning tickets on Facebook, tag the grocery store I bought it at. Dinner will be steak, and dessert will be strippers.

200 million, now you're talking serious **** you money. I've actually thought this out before. Ignore the basics of sign the ticket, and get a safe deposit box at a big bank.

I'll create a fake social media account and post a picture of the ticket with some BS about "won on vacation, OMG!!!" A few days later follow up with "Back home, resting and taking this all in, please allow me some privacy, I'll be claiming the prize when I'm ready." That will throw everyone off, and make the whole thing quiet down.

I wait a week or two and then get fired from my job for something stupid. Everyone will think I'm an idiot. Ok. :)

Passport, my wallet, and I'm off! I'll buy clothes and luggage wherever I end up starting my epic trip. An African safari would be a must. I need to see the Swiss Alps again. Italy is nearby. I know an amazing beach in Indonesia I'll revisit for a week or two. I gotta check out the the cute Aussie girls in Melbourne. Maybe some hiking in NZ. Machu Picchu for sure! Maybe hit Antarctica if possibly, dependant on weather and time of year. I figure 3 months or so of spend as I please, last minute plane tickets to anywhere I want, and I should be good for a bit. Then I'll return home, lawyer up, and get ready to claim my prize. Then it's back to Italy to talk with Pagani before ordering a Ferrari or 2.

Got some thinking towards it for a while (a man can dream right) and depending on amount I would do some of the following.
I know some people that stress too much with bills, house, or necessities. I would anonymously help them out. If the amount was over 250 million I'd start my own performance shop so I can have a income coming back. I'd just keep working like normal and tell no one. Help my family out if they need it and I'd do something a lot of you would think I was crazy for but I'd give some away but in fun ways and small amounts. Say screw it run a free raffle and put a complete power upgrade for someone's car valuing like 10k tops and do that once a year. But we all know I got trash luck and would never win the lotto so oh well lol

I'd buy SVTP and go back to the old forum style.

Current style blows, have to login every time i visit the site on every device/browser i have. I used to not have to login, now i login several times throughout the day. Also would change settings to 40 posts/page. Not this 20/page noob bs.

On a serious note, I would hire a firm to increase the wealth all while helping my entire family & friends too.

Keep it to myself.

Depending on the amount, would just continue life as is, but with a shitload in the bank.

Pretty sure NC doesn't allow you to claim anonymously, which is BS, so secrecy is out of the question.

With that in mind; I would try to continue life as I do now, just with more money. I don't want/need some stupid big million dollar home, nor do I desire Ferraris/Lamborghinis and a 10,000 square foot warehouse to store them. I'd probably buy a new Tundra and build a 700-800RWHP MKIV Supra though.

Buy businesses, dabble in real estate, build an empire. Get into as many things as I can to make money, that are legal.

I'd only have 2 cars or so, just new ones every other month

Quit work. Move to the country. Neighbors far away. No debt. Build a big garage and tinker with cars. Relax. Some travel. Fridge stocked with plenty of adult beverages.

Pay off my house. Push my POS garage over and build a massive pole barn that's insulated and climate controlled. Work less and spend more time with family. Buy a low miles Gallardo and send it to UGR. Ok actually that last one would be first on the list. Lol

Pretty much the what I have planned but with a lot more money.
Go to college, get a degree in mechanical engineering. Then get a job at the Corvette Factory in Bowling Green, KY.
Because of the lottery:
Get all my friends and family out of debt; also retire my father.
I'll have a warehouse on the outskirts of Bowling Green for all the cars and just live in the warehouse. I don't care for big houses. Thing will be filled with 90% classic (89 and back) and a handful of modern stuff. Modern stuff would be some muscle cars (yes, a Terminator is one of them) , few sports cars, and maybe one or two super cars. Then get an army of Rottweiler's. Invest 3/4's of the money to get a good income and use the rest as my personal checking account.
Haven't really thought about it. I don't mess with the lottery.

Buy a shitload of land out in the country. Build a modest house on it, no need for anything fancy. Garage will be bigger than the house. From there I'd start dipping into real estate. I'd pay off my immediate family's debts. After that I'll just work real estate and keep cycling through project cars. If I had enough maybe I could build a track on all that land I have.

If I won the lotto...

If it was the $200 million, first I would pay off my parents mortgage on their house, then finish my sister's college Tuition. Pay off the business' mortgage, pay off any debt my parents and sister's have.

Then, buy a house, build a nice garage, buy some cars and save the rest in the bank. Buy my girlfriend a new car.

I would attempt to keep it as anonymous as possible.

I have previously thought that I would continue working at my current career, but now I think I would leave Nebraska and head back to Texas, to be closer to my family, and at least get a Bachelor's Degree in some IT field.

I would definitely pay off the teeny tiny amount of student loan that I have left, pay off my current vehicle, pay off my mom's house, help my sister through college, and see if my dad has any immediate financial needs.

After I get my degree, I would return to the IT field to have a day job, just to pass the time during the day. I would buy a very nice, but relatively small house and have a four car garage and have two exotics, a nice truck, and my built-up V. My girlfriend or wife can park her cars outside lol.

In order to get richer, I would set aside some of that money and have it go to work for me in the markets. I probably would have a stockbroker take care of that for me. Of course, my day job would pay off the monthly bills.
