FWIW I installed a set of FRPP 4.10s and while it does have a small amount of whine, its no where near as loud as 3.73s.</p><p></p><p>11-12 is a sweet spot I think. The 13-14 has a much higher floor than the 11-12, but the 11-12 has a higher ceiling. Cobra Jet crank, forged Mahle pistons, Ford GT heads and the strongest 5.4/5.8 block made by SVT make the 11-12 5.4L the real winner if you ask me. Rods suck, but a good set of forged or billet rods solve that issue.</p><p></p><p>The PTWA cylinder liners are pretty stout, but if you plan on going hard core and going full build, you'll want to sleeve it. Stick with the 5.4 displacement IMO.</p></blockquote><p></p>
