What do I have?

I bought a 4v swap 80 Fox. I know I have a teksid and DB/DC heads. Does anybody have any insight on what I can do with this combo? Also, what the heads and block probably came out of? As far as I know, the block is a 95ish teksid from a mark viii, driver head is a late 03 DB termi, and passenger is a 05 aviator head. I was not aware you could mix and match the heads like this. Car currently makes ~12lbs with a gt500 blower. Don't know the pulley size. Was told it is ported, and it sounds like it's been hogged out a bit. T56 with 3.55 8.8 5 lug. Megasquirt 1. eMS pro. Was dyno'd (according to the last owner) at VMP ~450whp. 93 with dual meth. Would really like to upgrade to MS3, pump E85, and a reliable 130-140ish trap/8.9x on tire. Don't know the rods and pistons yet without a borescope. Thanks!

Can't see it very well, but the driver head is a 03 DB. Passenger is a 05 DC. Block is a F2LE.

I think you've already answered your question about where the heads came from. I can't remember if the DB heads have the 9 thread spark plug holes. Someone on here that's smarter than me should be able to tell you.

Figure out what rotating assembly you have then go from there. If it's stock Mark VIII stuff I'd say you're maxed out until you upgrade. If someone put the good stuff in there you should be good for whatever you want to do in the future. That seems like a small pulley for only 12psi to me. But I don't know the GT500 blowers very well.

DB and DC heads are both 9-thread and there is no big deal mixing/matching heads. I have a new set being fully ported with big valves and all, one DB and the other DC. Supposedly the coolant ports have been revised slightly on the DC's vs the DB's, but you could never look at them and tell the difference.

Ok, dude said it's got cobra crank and pistons which makes sense to me if you're gonna throw the heads and block together. The only issue I have is that he said it's got Boss 302 rods....like from what lol? I don't really know what that is other than the S197 or 70s pushrod 302. This makes me think it might not have such sturdy rotating assembly. Is there any way to look at the rods past the windage tray through the oil pan plug with like a borescope or something? I'll also be able to see the crank. I just don't want to pulley down and send some shit through the Mihovetz Mod God block or burn holes in the pistons. I heard bore and resleeves ain't as cheap as they used to be.

The newer Boss 302 rods work in these motors. For a while it was a budget upgrade from the non terminator stuff. I'm not sure if they're still considered budget as I haven't looked into it for a while. I would try to get a look and the rods and pistons just to make sure both were upgraded.

Given your plans it might be worth pulling the engine and at least taking off the tins to see what's actually in there.

The factory boss 302 rods were a common upgrade when they were cheap from ford. Ford caught on and raised the price so most go aftermarket now. They are supposed to be good to 600 hp iirc.
