Hello Everyone, Got some work done on the Fox Body this weekend. I do not consider this a paint correction as the paint is already in great shape, but did have a few marks that needed some attention. So, I will say I did a thorough polish of the paint this weekend and then applied a ceramic coating utilizing the Armor Shield IX that I used on my 65. BEFORE (Note: It was very difficult to try and capture the flaws in the paint. So, these might not show up if your viewing these pictures on your cell phone): Just an overall shot. You can see the paint does look good in general. Mark on the driver's side fender. You can see it in the reflection of the light. Looked like there was a water mark in the rear spoiler from standing water that dried. Another mark on the hatch/rear spoiler. Mark on the driver's side door. More marks on the rear spoiler. You can also see the reflection is very grainy. I almost decided to wet sand the spoiler and then buff it, but I'm not sure how much clear is on it and didn't want to risk busting through. So, I left it alone and just polished it. I "may" remove the spoiler during the summer and just re-clear it, but then it will look brand new compared to the rest of the car. But, hey, at least it will have a smooth reflection LOL. In this shot you can see how smooth the reflection is in the hatch compared to the spoiler. I'm not liking this, but can live with it......
