Next I'm going to do is a black Rpm 2 intake manifold and black anderson ford valve covers to complete the engine bay. I have the parts already but when LMR shipped the intake it got damaged so the upper intake is scratch up.
It's crazy they offer that intake in black. About 2 years after the rpm 2 intakes hit the market they only offered them in silver. I painted it black and sanded down the lettering just like they offer it now lol.

It looks nice except for the scratches on it. What do you have this intake on the blue coupe?

Oh and I found out why my steering has a problem. Apparently I completed overlooked the fact I put longtube headers on. The Rag Joint is rubbing all over one of the tubes! I have offset rack bushings coming to try and help but if not, I will buy that fancy Maximum Motorsports replacement!

While I wait for the MM steering shaft to arrive......

Pulled my ancient nitrous kit out and started installing it.
Found the main feed line has a bad end and won't seal, so I purchased a new one and waiting for it to arrive (Sat).
I have a MSD 8969 rpm switch I am using to trigger the nitrous.
But I also put a switch on the throttle body for wide open throttle to activate.

Hope to slap in some 150hp jets and test this weekend (pending the weather here in NC).

I think I'm leaning going back to an OE look for my car. I may ditch the Recaro seats (not selling, just going to carefully store) and see if i can track down a set of Black tweed sport seats for my car and install them. I had a MINT set but my dumbass self sold them for $250 10 years ago.

Also wheels. I took my 18" cosmis wheels off. I have my polished '01 cobra wheels off (avatar pic) but they are only 8" wide in the rear. I with LMR would make a 9" or 10.5" version but short or that or sending them off to weldcraft, I might have to look at other wheels. Im on the fence about a set of 17" Pony wheels front and rear. I kinda like the idea of a clean, modern OE look.

I can't leave anything alone it seems....

Just popping in to say hello.

Haven't done anything to my Fox recently except replace the EGR Valve and Sensor to clear code 34, which it did.

Used to be more active on this site many moons ago when i had my previous 1990GT which had quite a bit of work done to it. I now have a different 1990GT that i'm starting mostly from scratch on. I'm also on Stangnet.com (i see @Mustang5L5 is on here as well).

For those curious the big points on the car currently are the 5-lug conversion and gears. Mostly everything else is stock.

I do have TFS Twisted Wedge 170cc heads sitting in my garage, and a Paxton Novi 1220SL on the way. I also have some MM bits to install. I've only had the car since September of 2024 and progress is slow going.

Anyways, heres how she sits:

It's really hard to leave anything alone. Our vert is mainly stock, but I'd like to add subframe connectors and different springs. It seems to never end.

@Fox 5.0 very nice car! I'm also on stangnet.

Thank you! I know you were referring to the other post, but I am by no means trying to keep a stock look. I'm going towards 'newer mustang bits and pieces on an older mustang' look. As you can see i have new edge GT wheels, i plan on swapping the 5.0 emblems with "GT" ones. Guess there's really not much else to do. I will do the Cobra front bumper insert and a Cobra rear bumper and i think i'll be good. I also want to get or make my foglights yellow. I don't drive this at night or in the fog, lol so it would purely be a looks things. I think the red paint and yellow fogs go well together.

That is correct. My original "Forum" username was always Fox 5.0, even had my license plate for my last Fox "FOX5OH"... shoulda kept that plate, lol. I was super active on socalstangs.com but that forum isn't around anymore (more of a local San Diego forum).

I know the feeling, dfwstangs.com around here was huge until a Canadian company that was buying up forums in the late 2000's bought it, so one of the guys created dfwmustangs.net and EVERYONE jumped ship and went over there. He even had a backup of the forum and restored it so post counts, usernames, everything stayed the same and the original was a ghost town from day one of Canadian ownership. The new/replacement slowly faded away until a couple of years ago when there was a big database failure I think took it down for a few months and ever since then there might be 1-2 posts a month on the site. It was the local version of this forum and SVTP has replaced it for me now.

Sounds like a sweet little project. I do have a 90 ssp coupe that is modded. I'd still like a tune on it one day. But I'm not sure who really tunes these anymore.

I'm still active on corral. My username is 91GTstroked on there.

It's really hard to leave anything alone.

I know. Mayge I’ll leave the wheels alone but I can’t make my mind up on the Recaros.

They photograph well but the bolstering is aggressive and I’m always worried someone is gonna drag their jeans over it getting into the car and ruin the side stitching. When I get my annual inspection I swap a junk drivers seat in. Hard to enjoy the car when I’m so paranoid.

I love these but think I want to find some oe black seats and put something more practical in.

Man, just use them and enjoy them, I know I will in mine as I think we have pretty close to the same foam setup, except mine are the 79 pace car version so there is the thigh bolster extension.

I love those seats and would like a set in my 90 coupe that goes well with the 03 cobra rear seats.
