Sweet! Did it come with the 5.0? Was it a non A/C car ?

I love those notch backs, but it's hard to find one with every option I would want.

Yes, it’s an original 5.0 5 speed, power windows, power locks, with A\C. It was deleted by the previous owner. I bought all new brackets from LMR, and the bolt kit.

That's the one thing I don't understand about some Fox owners. Why rip out the A/C? Why convert from EFI to carburetor? Why gut the interior? Some owners do some really dumb shit....

I’m not gonna say the kind of owner I bought it from, but it’s the kind who cut springs with blinders on, and took the isolators out.. slowly decided it’s not going to be my drag car. I’m going to restore it.

Dan, judging from the photos you posted, I'm happy to hear that you want to restore it vs. going the racer route. Congratulations on finding such a clean Fox.

I’ve had it for 6 years haha. :D thank you though Bob. I’ve got enough fast cars, don’t need another one.

Next I'm going to do is a black Rpm 2 intake manifold and black anderson ford valve covers to complete the engine bay. I have the parts already but when LMR shipped the intake it got damaged so the upper intake is scratch up.
Yep my upper intake was damaged/scratched due to how Edelbrock packaged it. The lower was on top of the upper and only separated by a very thin piece of cardboard. The lower rubbed thru and gouged/scratched my upper. I am going to live with it, but will probably black it out later.

Who said anything about a dedicated drag car?

LMAO!!! When I first seen your post the pictures were not uploaded or appearing yet.

Okay, so it doesn't apply to a custom build either. Yours does look good BTW.

I'm talking about guys who do it for no reason. Like ripping out the A/C is really going to net you 5HP or something. Then they want to sell the car after they basically tore it apart for no "good" reason.

Not sure where @LS WUT bought his notch, but who wants a non A/C car in FL????

Who needs a heater in their Fox in Miami? Who needs A/C on their Fox in Buffalo?

There are a number of reasons for any mod and they may make sense to some but not others.

Why change to five lug when four holds the wheels on just fine? Who thought mounting the ignition module on the distributor was a good idea? Why remove fully functioning cats for an off road H-pipe?

Now if we're talking all one piece headlight/parking lamp/blinker assemblies, a gigundus hood but with a four banger underneath, neon city under the chassis....I get it, I do.

Any of you guys got nice headlights before I order new ones? Looking into buying headlights, headers, and a new trunk lid. The rust is just to much. It’s rusted thru to the other side. LMR sells it for $129, so not bad.

Edit: I have headers already lol. Sorry haven’t seen it in years

I bought the trunk lid from LMR along with the front and rear bumper covers, my painter said they were not bad at all (his version of a compliment).
