I just watched the video you did of your buddies red 93. Awesome car.

Thank you for the feedback on the fiddle fart stuff. I won't be buying their hood hinges. I understand sometimes things need to be modified to fit, but that opening is just to damn small...

Thanks for watching the video his car is nice. But yeah I took off the Struts yesterday and put the prop rod back on. I'm just running hinges for now I like my hood to open all the way. They do look nice but my main reason was to get rid of the prop rod and now I'm putting it back on.

It's a little game a couple of us are playing to see who can go longest with out needing to put the correct sticker. We have custom plates so we get new stickers every year. Mine is from 2021.

Made some progress. I'll be ordering a bunch of parts from LMR soon.

I shouldn't have changed the oil a couple months ago.... I'll have to change it again after I get it running.....

Thinking about changing the water pump while I'm here... it's not leaking but it looks original and very nasty looking.

Yep, when you start taking the engine apart Brady, the ole "while I'm in here." bites hard LOL.... I bought a brand new water pump and had it powder coated as well.

That tube that is running to the back of each head....Someone cut mine by the passenger head and stuck a bolt in it. So, I just removed it and bought the block off plates from LMR.

I removed so much stuff my brother told me I might as well have pulled the engine LOL. I wasn't quite ready to go that far. But I will one day. Engine bay needs a fresh coat of Medium Shadow Blue.

Good luck with your project brother....

.

LMR sells new black smog pipe that you are talking about. Mine even has the metal stabilizer bracket that connects from upper to lower intake. It's rusty so I'll probably clean it up and paint it black.

I started sanding down the AC lines because paint was peeling off. Wonder if I can just use automotive touch up paint.

Also found a fuel injector wire that's chewed up pretty good from a critter....

A lot of parts showed up yesterday. Made a little progress tonight. Scraping old gaskets off is such a tedious task....

I put on some fiddlefartfab parts I bought at foxtober fest from Tom. My only complaint is that hood doesn't open as much as it would without the Struts. The Pic with the hood open is the max it'll open so I kinda bummed about that.

Those hood struts on both sides?

Decision time.

I have a nice set of 03/04 Cobra rear seats. They kinda match my front Recaros. I don't have the energy or desire to spend the $$ to match the rears right now so this would be a stopgap solution.

I'd need to find a set of hatch seatbacks for donors first, and the material is dark charcoal, not black. So not perfect match....

Or, just leave this alone and sell the cobra rear seat. I do have to dye my belt buckles black though. My car is an '88 i added the rear 3-point belt to, but couldn't mount the black 90+ center buckles properly. You can see the front seat material and door panels i'm trying to match. Problem is i cannot find a good match to the specific recaro material.

This is the Corbeau rear vinyl seat cover...which they seem to have discontinued.

I like the look of how you have it now. My notch has 03 cobra front seats, which sit too high on a foxbody. One of the previous owners did the interior. I have matching rear seat skins and door panels.

Yeah those seats always look good in a fox. That was my original plan as well after seeing you're interior but I couldn't find a good set for a decent price.

Little more progress. Still working on it some tonight. I have a new OEM lower intake manifold suppose to be here tomorrow. Hopefully it was worth the money. I also found a Ford Performance stock thermostat housing. Those have been out of stock for a long time. NPD had one left!

I plan on getting the upper intake manifold and valve covers powdered coated.

Well received the nos lower intake manifold. I'm a little disappointed. It looks like a spot was never machined down by one of the coolant ports. I missed it in the pictures that the seller provided me.

So now, either return it and eat the shipping or spend more money on it and bring it to a machine shop....

Yeah i wouldn't have caught that either. That's a tuff one but I'll probably just try to fix it if it's not to expensive to get it machined.
