What did you do to your foxbody mustang today?

Small town founders day celebration show. About 30 cars

For a cruise, not smallish at all. Seemed to be a small lot across from the residential homes. LOL. Do you have any more photos of the cruise? We used to have a great similar cruise in the center of our town. There was even a hamburger joint conveniently right where the car gathered in the shopping center parking lot. Unfortunately it ended last year, maybe customers complained about not having sufficient parking. We loved that one. Next town over there is a cruise every week at and old closed drive-in theater. About 30-40 cars. Went there last week after meeting the organizer (who owns a newer C8 red Vette. Nice guy.

They didn’t have a cruise this year. I didn’t get pictures of all the cars today.

Thanks for posting more photos. I see that nice AMX in the mix. We have a local AMC Club nearby. They had a Club gathering a couple of weeks ago at our local Blackies Hot Dogs eatery. I was so amazed seeing so many AMC cars parked that I just had to stop and investigate. There were a few AMXs there.

Had to move my car out so I can work on my buddys LX vert.
Took time to capture it in the sun.


And here's the vert I am working on.
It's getting a fuel system including pump, filters, PTFE line, etc.
Currently waiting on some fittings and I'll have it knocked out this week.

Dropped the tank and found a common problem with Foxbody cars and larger fuel pumps. Connector was smoked!
It only had a 190lph pump and a booster inline separately, but had fuel issues where any rpm it would drop.
I suspected the internal hose, but it was fine, the wiring however was suspect.

Ditching it and going full pickup tube to external A1000 pump and filters.

I really didn't want to go this year, but if i'm gonna make the trip, this is the year to do it.

83 registered fox body Saleens as of now. Goal is 100.

Ended up taking the Cosmis wheels off the Fox this past weekend. Threw my polished '01 Cobra wheels back on. I liked the wheels, but I was never really in love with them. They just seemed too big and chunky on the car. I think I prefer the look of a 17" wheel on a Fox.


So i threw the Cosmis wheels on this.

I like the 18's on the SN95 body a lot more. The proportions fit.


SO now this winter i'll be on the hunt for a new wheel for the Fox. 17" and something wide enough to put a 275-285 tire out back and clear the ATS brembos I want to put on the car. .

For now, she sits back on her old wheels.
