What’s the channel name?

I have one too but it’s been a quiet summer for me. With winter coming up I need to get back to wrenching on the fox and making vids

Isn't it called CCW or something like that?

CCWFOX . I have a couple videos up already and but have alot of shorts just cause they're quick to make. I'm not the best but coming from absolutely no video filming or video editing background I think they are alright

Anyone replace a water pump lately...?

Took my car out a couple weeks ago for a short drive (luckily) and after a few days noticed coolant all the way to the back of the car on the garage floor. Finally got a chance yesterday to fill it back up and run it...put it on the lift and it looks like the water pump gasket. I'm just going to replace the pump also as I don't know how many miles are on it.

I know we've discussed that many of the parts now are junk, they just don't last. Rockauto has a motorcraft pump, thinking that might be my best bet? Anywhere else besides the usual LMR?

I changed mine out on my 90 coupe a few years ago. Still working good. I had a auto shop next to my shop change out the water pump on my 93 reef a couple years ago right when I bought it. Just didn't feel like dealing with it at the moment. It was winter and needed a complete flush because someone put red coolant in.

Are you using any sealant? What about the bolts that go through some coolant passages?

It's been a looooong time since I changed a water pump, I remember using some RTV to hold the gasket in place. That was going to be my plan again. Bolts could be an issue also.

I never use rtv on water pump or thermostat housing. I use permatex form-a-gasket and usually permatex tack a sealant to keep the gasket in place. I've used both, comes in a round white tub with a brush.

Yup, I know what stuff you're talking about, i'll have to check to see if I have a tube of blue Permatex in my supplies, if not I might grab the white tub.

I just ordered the motorcraft pump from Rock Auto, should be here by the end of the week.
