Pulled the trigger and swapped engines!
Got the 331 installed and it runs great. Gonna schedule some dyno time soon to see if this intake makes more power than the Edelbrock RPM2 (box stock) that I had previously on this engine in my other car.

And the ending I was supposed to include, but it was raining the day I completed the 1st vid. Enjoy.

Forgot to post this here yesterday, the builder sent me these to make sure the color is what I wanted. I was trying to decide between BAB and Riptide Blue, which is really tough to tell them apart, so he blended the two and added pearls to it and sprayed the underside of the trunk lid. I absolutely love the color and can't wait to see the rest of the car wearing it.

That's nice have him a make extra at the point he's going to paint. I had a custom color made one time with them saying they could duplicate it later if anything happened. Well I needed to repaint my front bumper and they couldn't get it match even after 3 attempts.

BTW any guys here going to foxtoberfest? Also I installed fiddlefartfab billet peddles.

I would love to go to Foxtoberfest one year. For now I think I'll stick with the LMR show that's hosted in Dallas..... I'll probably trailer my Foxbody to that one next year....

I will, but also if it ever needed work again it would go back to him anyway.

He sent me this pic of it inside his shop with his Calypso coupe in the background. Also not the 93 Cobra insert on the bumper and how well it's blended, same setup on my front bumper too, no line/seam at all.

I like that blue way better than the Calypso.

Sent from my SM-S931U using the svtperformance.com mobile app

Got the Graphics Express stripe kit to cover my red stripe on the 88LX.
I tried removing the red with a heat gun, scraper, etc. It was disintegrating into small pieces and very time consuming.
So I simply installed this stripe kit over it. Looks great with minimal effort!

Looks really good. I didn't not-like the red. Was it deteriorating, and in need of replacement?

Installed my 331 stroker engine (stock block, Ford Racing X302 heads, ported Explorer intake, shorty headers, 39# injectors, 125hp nitrous nozzle in the inlet tube).
Put it on dyno and was surprised by results.
Made almost exactly the same power as it did in my other foxbody with long tube headers, E85, and an Edelbrock RPM2 intake (unported).
After this video - I found my nitrous solenoid was pulling too many amps and dropping voltage from 12.5 to 9.9 volts.
This explains why nitrous hits and then falls off. Got a new solenoid on the way to hopefully resolve!

Pulled my diff apart to replace my clutches with the new Ford Carbon fiber 8.8 clutch set.

Damn i hate friction modifier

Really wasn't a whole lot of wear on the original clutches. These have 100K miles on them, and the stack measured out at 0.442" which is not that worn out. Only reason I changed them is because the differential on my SN95 (with 70K miles) is worn out completely, and I wanted a pair of extra friction disks to do the SCSCSCSC alternating stack method on that car. So i needed 2 good friction disks

Just need to readjust my PHB and then we can do a short test drive, er, clutch dump ;)

Next up, start pulling the diff apart on my SN95 and do the same thing

Yes in spots the red was coming off.
The red was different but never suited my tastes.
I like the stock look, all black better.

If the red was added later and factory is black then I agree with your move. However, I liked the red in there to give it a bit of flair from the black and white.

I laugh because back in my day black and white meant Generic.....LOL...
