J2Fab intercooler and manifold Trunk tank/EMP/single pass HE This has been a protracted/prolonged project, but it is finally done! I had amassed parts to build a Teksid-based engine and bought the G5whipple, but ended up selling everything. Too busy with life/three little kids right now. I’d initially planned to keep an underhood IC reservoir but got irritated with how congested these cars are - AC/PS lines, bypass hoses, lower radiator hose, brakes lines etc - ended up using 1” feed/return to the trunk tank. I made a bracket to mount the pump to keep the inlet directed toward the front of the car/tank outlet as much as possible. Used Rivnuts in the trunk pan to secure the pump. I moved the thermostat to the top side and deleted the oil cooler. Added charging posts to keep the battery topped off while sitting in the garage. While everything was apart I had the injectors cleaned and flow-matched and clean the pre/post fuel filters. Had a fun discovery when the J2 flow mod sprayed water everywhere the first time I primed the pump…luckily a friend was able to tig weld the crack on the lower/feed tube….
