Did some datalogging on the Cobra. She's running great with the new Terminator X system.

Installed a Sony XAV-AX5000 head unit along with a USB plug to take the place of the shifter boot aux power plug. The original head unit was on its last legs and needed a good burial. Only took about half an hour to install with the install kit from Crutchfield and it sounds better than the stock unit ever did.

Bet she rolls the f out too. How do you like the computer? Functions and such.

Honestly the car is running better than it ever has. Totally different animal with the Holley. The way it revs, responds and even sounds is improved vs the oem computer.
Next project will be removing the Boost Leash system and letting the Holley control the boost. Maybe over the winter or spring.

Put in new TOB and clutch release lever (pivot ball retainer fingers broke on old one), then reinstalled trans, d/s, and exhaust. Tomorrow I'll be throwing the F-1A back in and charging the newly replaced ac system. Getting close to tuning with more boost!

Bonus: the 3-month backordered MM FLSCs showed up today!

Motor is back in one piece for the first time since last year. Few minor things left then off to the tuner.View attachment 1718118
You've had a busy past few days. Nice to see everything all buttoned up and ready to rumble. I also noticed your garage lift in one of your photos. Nice!!

That’s great, for you bro

I'll bet it looks awesome. I remember when I had my DSG Cobra how the metallic in the paint POPPED after waxing.

Wow! Congratulations! Always nice when your pride and job gets its deserved recognition.

Thanks Guys! I've been going to this show since it started 4 years ago. I'm definitely seeing more love for the Terminator recently.

I got mine out for a spin yesterday. I've been so busy lately that I haven't had any time to get the car out. The good news is, the transmission seems to really like the Royal Purple I put in it last month!
