Not my terminator but a good friend of mine. Helped him get it all wrapped up and ready to start. I need a DSG coupe of my own. Hopefully this coming year.

Cars been down for 8 months he did a full overhaul on it basically. It’s insane how good it looks now. For those that follow me on YouTube we will have the car on the channel very soon.

Boy it’s been a doozy with the Cobra since I got her back on all 4s following the IRS rebuild. Overall I’d say she’s been doing great. Hitting car shows and cruising a lot have been pretty nice.

Today’s the day I am doing some basic maintenance. I noticed the motor was having the slightest miss so I pulled all the plugs (I’m running TR6IXs - all gapped at either .027 - .028 with the exception of 1 sitting at .030. Am gonna try to close that one cylinder at .030 down to .028 since I’m on the stock Eaton with the overdrive gears so the car likes to float between 13-15 PSI typically).

Not to get too technical of course - but honestly it’s refreshing to just be touching the motor again as opposed to the suspension. Gonna get an oil change done and inspect my catch can and see how that’s been doing. Car’s super smelly these days - reeks of gas and definitely seems to be acting like it’s running rich. I’m probably gonna get it retuned in the near future just for good measure, but I’m having a feeling my cats are just completely done for. Been looking into the whole exhaust upgrade with LT headers, O/R X Pipe and Bassani all in 3 inch diameter. But …… jeez is that an expensive setup to do these days. So It’s time for saving!

Yeah man, it’s a buy once cry once type of situation. I cried for a couple days back in May when I bought mine, lol

At that boost I'd run them all at .030". I have my BR7EFs at .028".

FWIW, it seems some cars just don't like the iridiums. Food for thought.

While leaving Cooks Garage smoking the tires through 1st and 2nd, I thought to myself I don't remember seeing my Raptor shift light go off. Thinking back to a couple times at the track, it did the same thing and I blew my FRPS twice resulting in towing home

So, I reset the tach just for 2400 rpms, turn on key and showed the correct sequence needed. Drove and light came on at 2400 rpms.

Change to 5800 rpms, went to ole Mexico and as it was just above 5k the the shift light flickered but never came on at 5800 rpms.

Reset back to 2300 rpm to test and it works fine. I don't know but I may just recheck the wiring into the coil once motor cools off.
