So, um, when you’re ready to NOT deal with that let me know. Wife’s a solid realtor. More cobra time = happiness.

Buddy of mine has an S8 and she helped his forum friend move from Alaska to PA and he’s quite happy with the not constant snow

I'll keep that in mind. Front runner is currently Tennessee
Be a man and just drive it.

I drive my 04 when it's -50*C and snow up to your knees. In November I throw on a set of Blizzaks and stay out of boost. Havn't crashed or got stuck once in 20 years of it being my daily driver (in Canada)

I'm not poor I have a daily. Have fun with your rust.
Thank God for the south.

Fortunate people do not have to live in hell

Can you post the instructions? I think this should be added to my Terminator FAQs.

Remove the inner bolt and loosen the outer. Install a ~1/2" tall spacer on the inner bolt, I used a couple nylon washers and a piece of silicon hose but a solid plastic spacer might be better. Rotate the seatbelt guide forward enough so you can reinstall the inner bolt with the spacer. Tighten both bolts but leave the outer bolt loose enough so the guide can rotate forward should it hit the light bar.

I did mine the other way, I kept the factory screw in the inner hole and added the plastic spacer to the outer hole to hold the belt loop forward. But I guess it accomplishes the same thing. I did this years ago. Easy solution. Nice job.
I tried it both ways. Having it mounted on the outer bolt gave the guide a slightly better downward angle and it seemed to rotate forward better when contacting the light bar.

I would rather keep those off. I took mine off. Looks cleaner without the loops. Someone claimed that section of the seat wears out when the seat belt constantly touches the leather?

But good option for someone who wants the loops.

I had them off for a few years. But I'm old now with a bad neck and back and reaching behind me for the belt was a hassle

I’m surprised none has 3D printed one that clears and uses both bolts.

94-98 Mustang Convertible guides are suppose to clear if you mount them upside down on the opposite side. I've been keeping my eye out for a set.

Nothing exciting BUT some may be interested:

Last week I tried a new detailing product specifically designed to infuse plastic with conditioning oils and chemicals. SWISSVAX Protecton Matt- One of these oils is Jojoba oil (I know it sounds like it came from Star Wars) but after some heavy reading and deep dives, this is what plastic needs in order to remind flexible and not go brittle.

There’s no drama hear- you wipe it in one direction and in five minutes it flashes over and boom. A pure mat finish with zero residue. It looks much better then car pro perl. Also costs a lot more.

Figured with these cars having pretty plasticky interiors there’s gotta be others out there that just want to preserve everything to its best.

have any pics with flash on? i always tread lightly with a lot of these products for the dash and console as most of them leave a sheen or a very light shiny hue that drives me nuts. I've refrained from cleaning my air bag cover etc with anything other than a dry microfiber in an effort to preserve the matte finish on the plastic. seems like once its gone it can never be replicated.

I do the same. I hate anything that makes interior shiny.

The matte finish for me has always come back after a proper clean. Even if you don’t put stuff on the dash for sure someone else or the dealer has at one point.

I had carpro on there - took a cleaner and a brush to it and once I applied the swissvax I couldn’t tell a difference at all between the freshly cleaned dash and the one with protecton matt. Literally flashed away into non existence.

Will send pics with flash on if I don’t forget!
