I got the 7k quick jacks. They work good. Few things to note about them.

1. When lifted, you have no access from the sides of the car. Only the front or back. So plan accordingly.

2. From where the car is parked to lifted, the car moves about 1-1-1/2 feet forward. So you need to account for that. If you have a small garage, these are a pita to use.

3. They are sturdy, come with rubber blocks that can be modified to not damage the pinch welds if you don’t have SFC’s.

4. They are a little heavy to lug around and position under the car. So if you’re old or a little B. these are not for you. I hang mine on the wall when not in use so they don’t take up much room.

Overall, they are nice and convenient. I’m not sure if they are 2K nice or not. Check Home Depot deal of they day for them, I see them pop up from time to time for a few hundred off. Luckily I paid $1200 off a friend a few years ago, mine were practically new. I’ve lifted my F150 with them no problem too.

i got my 7k set from costco, good place to watch there as well as they frequently include the spacers to use on trucks and such as well. It's nice being able to put the daily way up in the air.

I couldnt get the QJs under my sub frame connectors so I had stifflers jacking rails installed - should have done that a loooooong time ago. There are also places that sell the rubber blocks with the pinch weld lines molded into them. Just make sure they dont stick to the vehicle - who knows where the hell that block fell off going down the road

I really need to get the grease pencil and mark the car and QJs for quicker positioning in the future. Its just my car in the 2 car garage so I leave em out on the floor, basically just slide em under and go.

Fuel filter change. (New on left, old on right)
When I met up with Kevin a while back, he had an extra in his tool box and I don’t know when it was last changed by the previous owner so right before the car rolls 30,000 miles it has a fresh one.

Need to pick up a set of Toyo TQ’s so he and I can go check the tune on it. These R888’s won’t even hold 3rd gear and tread depth is like new…they’re just old.

A good burnout video is in order

I had to renew my tabs, but I guess I needed new plates. I thought about giving maybe one away to a svtp member. But does anyone even collect license plates? Is it even legal to give them out?

Hopefully soon I can get some cars out!

Clamps from from Amazon over night.

Hit the gym at 4 am this morning, came home and polished the new Bassani and got it installed. Sounds absolutely great. It’s nice and mellow and I can hear the blower and myself think. Don’t miss the stingers a single bit.

Keeping the baffles in the tips for now.

I agree, that's a nice looking Torch Red Cobra. Did you get to talk to the owner?
I did not. He eventually popped the hood and it was a stock blower/pulley guard jlt intake car. First time I've seen the car around too. Maybe next one I'll catch him around.
