I’ll tell ya what…I’m so tired of shops and people.

The body shop guy has had my hood for 2 weeks, hasn’t touched it. Been excuse after excuse on why it’s not done, or even started. I text him today that he has till Monday and I’ll be there to get it one way or another.

And then the powder coating place has had my IRS cradle and control arms for 3 weeks, no word no update nothing.

Why has it gotten impossible to get anything done in a timely manner anymore. I’m complete ****ing over it.

Looking for random svt parts locally I came across these. Guy wants a $100 for them. So it’s going to get some new mats. Super exciting…::::

check for p#'s on the back at that price just in case. Bonus points if they still have the rear mats included to complete the set!

Rears are these. What’s the ongoing price for these things if they’re authentic ? I’ll post part numbers soon

Check out this link. There is the correct part number for those mats they look like the ones that were sold on as fakes on ebay. I don't believe that style ever came with the 03/04 cars but they did on 96-98 cars. The badges looked to be glued on.

At highway speeds, I'd argue that most of the decibels come from the tires. Especially if those are r888rs. Insulating the firewall would reduce the in cabin noise even more.
I think you're right. These are the older R888's so a fairly loud tire to begin with. I have half a box of the Kilmat so there are other areas I plan to apply it to in an effort to quiet down the cabin.

I've heard the r888 are extremely noisy. My car has the Nitto's they seem to be fairly quiet at highway speeds. I'll try to download same app and use the same speeds Tony did. Our cars are fairly close minus mine has MAC Prochamber with stingers.

Doing the trunk alone made a huge difference and I still have half a box left!
Video is up!

Going to order these after watching your video. Going to do this on my Lightning as the exhaust has finally gotten annoying to me on the highway. Thank for the video!

This was actually on Monday, but I treated the seats with Leatherique. I need to clean it for a car show this weekend, so I figured this was a good time to let it soak in to the leather for a few days. I should probably pull it out of the garage so the interior can get really warm.

Mod it, just keep the stock parts
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Nothing crazy planned just the norm: pulley, intake exhaust. Do you guys keep the stock wheels too? I want some CP21s or SK1s but selling my wheels would fund a lot of the new ones. Not tight on money but would rather sell them if they wouldn't bring me much when selling the car in the future.
