Managed to get the hood struts on today. Drilled out the broken stud and wound up using a nut sert. I’m just glad it’s done because if my car had a face I’d punch it.

I installed some Corsa mufflers in my magnaflo cat back last night. They certainly are different, extremely quiet at idle/cruise, insane at wot. They were weird in that they're almost a straight pipe through the muffler with 3 tiny slits in the side of the pipe to let sound go into the muffler.

I'll probably get the car out some more tonight.

I’d be interested in some sound clips. I am always searching for different sounds for my car too and have been thinking on what to run when I get my car back on the road.

I love the yellow and black focus. Well, not including the battery, LOL. That's a very clean looking engine bay. No clutter there!

I tried installing rear car seat bracket for my little boy. But with my car being built in 8/02, there isn't a way to make the bracket work. Didn't become law till 9/02 which kinda sucks. Anyways Well I didn’t add any cool parts, just pulled this piece out from previous owner and installed the stock piece. I prefer less gauges.

sorry I don't have the equipment to do that. I drove the car to church and its certainly different. So very very quiet at idle and cruise, but when you get on it the car it is as loud as my Stingers. If I could have the perfect setup I would want loud at idle, low cruise, with no drone, and pretty quiet at WOT. I hate being nervous of a cop getting me. I have $550 in mufflers so they're staying on the car no matter what lol. I also like that I'm probably one of the few that have Corsa's on a terminator.

There’s no where to anchor it to on your 03?

Same here with my 03. Luckily my daughter is in a booster now so it just uses the seatbelt but when she was little and my son also, I hated not have the anchor bars.

My car came with a bracket factory bolted in under the rear seat back.
First picture here shows what I am talking about....

Yea the latch on rear deck. Just like the lower anchors.
Never knew about that. There’s always atleast one car seat in the back of my ‘03, I suppose I got lucky mine came with the anchor points.

My ‘95 Cobra on the other hand doesn’t have any anchor points and I figured out a way to anchor it down, I’ll PM you what I did.

Interesting.

My car is an early 03. I had no idea of this difference.

when I bought the car the passenger side scoop had some sort of discoloration. I was told it’s normal color fade etc on the plastic pieces and would have to be repainted. After a couple washes if never came off, use a little dw40 and dawn foam soap and BAM!! Good as new
