Backing out and seeing the huge puddle. I really need to redo the fuel system as it smells like fuel in the house if I park it in the garage for a long period of time. These lines are old before they started adding ethanol into fuel.
Are you still on stock lines or is it aftermarket?

Installed some Metco double bearing idlers today. I had some BPS single bearing idlers already but didn't like the way they would move around under load. Amazing build quality and craftsmanship on the Metcos!

A projector retro was a fun and very useful project, I am so glad I have a set back in my Cobra. What housings did you start with, I used an old crappy set and I junked them after a few months. I bought a set (SW lights) and I dont think I could have matched the fit and finish so it was worth the cost to me.

Havent done any driving at night yet so the jury is still out for the bulbs and projector he used. Please post up some output shots when you get things wrapped up. What did you make the DRL with by the way???

I bought the headlights on Amazon and they come with the DRL installed. . They're just your average chinese made headlight so hopefully they hold up. The projectors are Morimoto D2S and I'l be using some high output Osram bulbs. I've done many retrofits using Morimoto D2S projectors and they never fail to impress.

I had retrofitted some dark smoked housings on the car previously and liked they way they looked but the dark tint cut the light output too much at night.

Swapped the pulley on my Whipple 2.9 last night. Went from my 3.5 Whipple pulley to a 2.75 griptec pulley. Gonna go out and bury my foot in it to see what this new engine can handle! We'll see how rowdy she gets!

Why the Morimoto D2S, Ive only ever used the Morimito Mini H1. Is it preference or something technical???

The projector is larger meaning more output and better optics. There's also a much better selection of bulbs available for D2S. The downside is obviously the size of the projector. It's a very tight fit into a New Edge headlight and requires significant modifications. The new lights I bought are even smaller inside due to the DRL so I am concerned I'll run into fitment issues. Time will tell.
