Just wodering what type of car you came from when you got into an 03/04 Cobra. The reason I ask is I see just about everyone here doing some sort of non-warranty friendly mod to gain more power over the 400+ you got when basically stock.

I came from a bolt on 95 GT that made maybe 245-250 rwhp. I always dreamed of building her up to the 400rwhp mark, but time, money, effort, was never there all at once. Finally I sold her and got into this beast and I couldnt be happier with the power this thing has.

So I was thinking maybe alot of the mod crazy 03/04 Cobra owners came from cars that were comperable or even more powerfull.

I had a 99 Trans Am WS6, jsut got tired of it and got a great deal on the Cobra...had lots of mods on the WS6 including a nice shot...I'm putting out more power in the Cobra but the WS6 was lighter, an auto w/ a stall, different kind of car really but fun nevertheless....if I still had it I prob would have a lot more things done to it

Procharged 99 GT vert was my daily driver. 93 GT was my toy. The 93 went buh-bye when I got the 03 and now the 99 has been replaced with an 04 Lightning. :)

2001 GT vert that I put 10k into making it a Saleen clone. I had just bought and installed the Series IV SC & it was not enough power. So I took it off less than a month later and got the Cobra.

91 Taurus SHO w/ Stage IV SHOshop package and 75 shot n20. Spent way too much on that thing to go quick...

Cobra is FAST, and needs much less money thrown at it for mods.

I did a two for one: Traded my 96 SHO and 2000 Boxster Tiptronic for the 03 Cobra. I loved the SHO's smooth V8 (excellent interstate cruiser) and sleeper looks. The Boxster turned heads (many female) and handled exceptionally well but was grossly underpowered. I added basic bolt on mods to both.

The Terminator has the best qualities of each plus a ton of horsepower and attitude. It's my daily driver so just a few simple mods for me.

1997 cobra coupe, lots of mod's but still N/A. It was making around 280 to 290 RWHP. I would still have it today if some fool had not totaled it. I looked high and low for another 96 to 98 to replace it, but could find nothing anywhere as clean as my baby. So the wife got sick of me spending every free minute I had looking at used cobra's and told me just go buy a new one. So I did. If MacKenzie's Mustang would have had that 98 chrome yellow coupe the are advertising now back then, I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

Traded an Acura RSX Type-S for the Cobra. It had lot's of mods for autox, but still wasn't fast in a straight line.

I came from a little 2002 Eclipse RS with a turbo. It was a low 14 sec car, best time of 14.2 @103. It was quick from a roll, but no where near the cobra.

What Kind Of Car?

I was planning on getting another Porche Turbo...until the Germans took France's side against our great country. I figured screw them and decided to go American.

Bottom line, I'm REALLY glad I got the Cobra!

I held on to my modded twin-turbo S4 for frying rice and wannabees such as the new GTO.:burn:
