Take away at least 5lbs for a muffler swap. Big difference in weight between between stockers and the "S" type Borlas. I would think the Ford Racing Mufflers are identical to the Borlas.

Billet Aluminum Control Arms are also a weight savings over the stamped steel stockers.

(not sure on the weight savings, but definatly some)
roush carbon fiber fenders
seibon carbon fiber door panels
seibon carbon fiber trunk lid
ST version(integrated ducktail)
(i like the "ST" version best)

dont forget wheels! aren't the stockers rediculous, like 40lbs or something?
2 piece rotors(expensive ass stillens or performance friction)
'racing' seats
rear seat delete
griggs says their SLA saves ~31lbs
quarter window delete(lexan/plexi, sheetmetal, something) might save a tiny bit of weight
i would imagine that the TVS blower is a little lighter than the stocker too, isn't it? its a bit smaller(liter wise).
would a single turbo system be a little lighter?

i dont see a carbon fiber hood being any lighter though, since the standard one is aluminum. isn't the gen 2 lightning hood(aluminum) lighter than nearly all of the aftermarket pieces?
thats all i have.

Sometimes, there is potential for significant weight reduction right behind the steering wheel.

with everything listed in here so far, i bet you could easily save a couple hundred pounds without affecting road manners/NVH! it may not be cheap, but it would be a bit lighter and a bit quicker!
Isn't the Stillen price for two rotors whereas the Performance Friction is each? So, pretty much the same price?
actually, your probably right. i just saw the prices and neglected to actually 'think' after seeing them, lol.

Axle weights - 10 lbs.
Shorty headers - 9 lbs (less than stock manifolds).

Thanks for the additions. I read about the shorties but I was hesitant to add them because I figure most people would go with long tubes.

I would still like to know battery and wheel weights.

a member on another site actually weighed the FRPP shorty headers and the difference from stock is only 7.4lbs if i remember correctly.

Stock wheels are 28lbs

and Ry_Trapp0 - The TVS is gonna be heavier its a bigger blower vs the stock. Not sure how much or if its a lot.

I installed Corbeau FX1 Pro seats and their total weight including the fabric, padding and seat tracks is 32# each. (The advertised 16 lbs is just the fiberglass buckets!) So subtract that from the OE weights for the savings.

On the mufflers, if you go with SLP's or staight tips (muffler delete) the savings is the total muffler weight (-2 to 5 lbs of pipe). I didn't weigh my mufflers before I boxed them up.....

I made a list a while back...I think I shed about 185 lbs by removing some simple crap. Light weight seats are next, for about an additional 50 lbs of reduction.

I'll post my list as soon as I find it...oooops...chit, my bad...I have a Terminator!!!

Still want the list???

Later...Dave

Kyl- you might want to change that rear seat delete to 20lbs, I dont think it is even that heavy. Has to be the lightest seat I have ever taken out of a car. Also you could list removing the heavy ass shaker 1000 box dont have a weight on it yet but I am taking mine out this winter. Then there is always the lose of some lbs with a off road x pipe, once again never checked mine but it has to be good for a few lbs.
