So I noticed recently very randomly a weird scuff mark started to form on the top of my steering wheel. I believe it was due to heat being on it and then my hand being placed in the same general area. Any idea how to fix it or would I need to replace the steering wheel totally.

I have similar marks, but from my wedding band. Would love to find a way to restore it without replacing it.

My buddy has this too on his SS, near the top though where he usually puts his hand to drive.

As far as we could tell it's the top layer/finish on the leather that was removed from not being cared for.

Probably needs to be replaced though.
