With respect to the Mustang, offering both raises the price of each, not good.

The last TR6060 used in a Ford (2014 GT500) retails around $5,300 from Ford.

I just learned of the retail cost of a '20 GT500 DCT assembly and it is almost 4x that (I'll share more if I get permission).Suffice it to say it is more than 20k!! Halve the DCT order and the price goes up significantly. Same goes for another TR6060 variant.

20k for a trans tells me someone is loading up for future problems.

Arent those retail #'s really inflated? Im sure ford's cost is a fraction of that and the product does not 100% reflect retail cost per part or these cars would cost like 300k

That's why I only commented on suggested retail and mentioned the two for comparison. Point being, the DCT is much more than I think people would have estimated. How it gets reflected in the msrp of the car is going to be very interesting.

I'm hangin' on the best I can for one of these but this is ridiculous. Whenever I get one home and in my shop I'll get started. Sorry but that will likely be some time down the road.:)

My first Mustang was a 1965 2+2 k code when I was 17 in 1967. since then I have owned a Roush Stage 3 2006 , gt500 2008, and now a 2014 GT 500 with a stable mate of a original 1970 Boss 302. All have been manuals.
will I purchase a 2020??? Yes, WHEN IT COMES WITH A MANUAL TRANS!!!!!!!

I’ll buy the DCT from you when you get the conversion started. I have a new TR6060 from my 2014 or will buy you a new Magnum XL.
