[QUOTE="Lemmiwinks, post: 16032418, member: 135323"] The watch you really want > many other watches. Also: 1 "expensive" brand watch > many less expensive (still decent) brand watches. Why? The economic. A Speedmaster has higher potential for increased value over time. And the past has proven this to be correct. Take a look at what they cost brand new 5 years ago and used today. I had an offer from a botique to buy a brand new Speedy for 26k SEK (roughly 3k USD) and today that's what a used one costs. That was 4 years ago. The practical. Seriously. 1 watch is enough. The dream. Speedmaster is what you've sought for. Not several other pieces. It's Speedmaster you want. TL;DR Get the Speedmaster. I've myself worked around with many cheaper, and many more expensive watches. Hell, even AP's... But I've settled for one of the prettiest watches I can afford. Rolex Submariner 116610LV (Hulk). Fun story, 3-4 years ago I was offered to buy a used one for $5k. I hesitated, for weeks! Eventually turned it down. Look at the prices of them today... (I bought it brand new for MSRP last year).
