Wanting Sequential Tail Lights for ‘01 Cobra

Hello, I am new here and not really finding my answers anywhere unless the answer is no. Is there a way to get sequential tail lights on this beast? I know for some odd reason for used different pin out connectors on the 99/01 Cobra, which is making tail light hunting darn near impossible. That being said, the “best” luck I’ve had thus far is finding these tail lights listed as “excluding 99/01 cobra” like literally every other option; but one reviewer posted a video in his review in which he has these installed in a cobra and makes no mention of having to do anything outside of plug and play. So I am confused as to how he got them to work.

Any 99/01 Cobra owners here who found success in installing sequential tail lights??

quick google search shows the only plug and play type kit is ~$450. Everything else is a bunch of home brew solutions modifying a bunch of wiring etc. Doesnt seem worth it imho

The "odd reason" for the different wiring is because of the ambers. Which is why you never see kits for the 99/01 Cobras.

I saw one guy that did it using the ambers and the red lights. Looked like crap to me. IMO, if you want sequentials convert over to normal taillights. However, you then lose one of the best parts of the 99/01. That's why I never bothered on mine.

I have been searching for weeks, lol. Could you be kind enough to supply a link? Because whatever you found I have not seen! $450 sounds steep so I may not do it but I’d at least like to see it.

Yea I have seen this kit on American Muscle. I struggled to see in my minds eye how it’d look good. I linked a set of modern sequential that I saw on a cobra and with the red lenses it looks surprisingly good. I’m guessing he swapped out the harnesses/pin out connectors? Also, how would I convert over to normal lights IF I choose to follow this path? I’m not sold on doing it but am interested a bit.
