I just want to know if the walbro 400 pumps fit in the old Fore hat that was made for the older walbro pumps that were out at the time the original fore hats were made.

Well from what I've read the walbro 400 are a little bigger than the 255 an have to be slightly modified. But I'm not sure exactly what has to be done. So it would be awsome if you did a write up with pics .

The 400's will not fit in the older Fore hats. They're too large at the base of them causing them not to fit in the basket.

We will be offering an upgrade kit shortly that will allow you to make the conversion provided the Fore hat you have is the one for the Walbro pumps not the GT pumps.
