Anyone running the Walbro 525 fuel pump with E85? If so how much horsepower are you making and are you running it as a single pump?

Yes I believe they refer to it as a "hellcat "fuel pump, also referred to as a "universal E85 pump" for what thats worth. Dimensionally it's supposed to be the same as the Walbro 465 pump but have the ability to support almost 700hp onE85.

This is the pump from the hellcats correct?

Good question. I just run 3 465s.
It’s not good to let any of the pumps sit in E85, mainly according to Fore, but does anyone know if this one is better?

I am not personally running one, I have a single 465 at the moment. But there is a thread on modularfords with some in depth discussion on it.

No idea, car hasn't been on the dyno in a few years but I don't believe i'm close to maxing it out on 93 with 80lb injectors on 93. I'm still working though tuning with the novi but i've hit a max of 10lbs @5500rpm with no issues. That should be a little over 500 rwhp with some crude conversions.

I'm close to 600rwhp i need to dyno after switching to E85.
So far so good, my injectors are a little high on duty cycle, so I'll be raising base FP to get around it.

I don't think it would do much more than that on a blower car on e85.

I want to go to a YSI and will definitely go with a magna 750

What are the details on your car? Are you running the 465 or 525 lph?

525lph 331 S trim.. was making 550s on 93.
Did the 525 when i switched to e85, 8an feed 6an return, modded a quantum hanger and put it into my stock tank.

In hindsight i should've just gone with a sump and a big external.

Also had to run 10 guage wire with a new relay and fuse for it, i will say... it's quiet for what it is... like quieter than a stock intank.

Sounds like a laser beam when it kicks on.

I’m in the process now of switching to 2 525’s and a ysi. I’ll keep you updated with what happens after it’s all put together
