Vmp gen2 into a gen 1

Short story is I can aquire a wrecked gen2 2016 that has a vmp setup. The car it be going into is a 2011 gen 1. I've heard of 3-2-1 swaps but I'm not seeing much info other than using the gen1 cam sensor setup as it's 2 wire instead of 3. I'm sure there's more to make this happen, if anyone has a link or knowledge of what all would need to be done to stab the gen2 into a gen 1 ID really appreciate it!
