Can't decide which one to go with. I've read good things about all 3. Any help would be appreciated

you didn't list it but VMP 2.3 for a street car, ideal all around.

2.65 and 2.9 they are both good choices but don't think about the 2.3 whipple

the 2.9 gen 4 seems to be a pretty impressive blower so far. like stated above, it depends on what you want out of the car. if only running 17-18lbs and pump, go with a 2.3. if running 21+ and e85, go with the 2.9. with that being said i run 21lbs on my 2.3 tvs on e85 and its a VERY fun street car

That would also depend on if he wants new or used. If he wants new then the VMP 2.3 is out.

Depends on the fuel. The 2.9 would be a waste unless you have good fuel access. Id go 2.3 tvs if on pump gas.

Make no mistake, the 2.3 tvs is no slouch on 93. Add e85 in the mix and it's a beast.
For a track car yes a 2.9 is better. For a fun street car I dont see any reason the 2.3 wont fit your needs.

Either the 2.3 whipple or 2.3 tvs if your looking for 600hp on 93, which ever you can get a better deal on. I had a previous 03 Cobra with a 2.3 gen II whipple make 607hp & 569 tq @ 17lbs on 93. It had the stock 3.5 upper and 4lb lower pulley. My current cobra with the 2.3 tvs makes 617hp & 560 tq @ 17lbs on 93 oct. It has a 3.0 upper and stock lower pulley. Same dyno, tuner, etc... a couple years apart. If your looking to change fuel, run high boost, and squeeze as much HP as possible, I'd say go with 2.9 whipple.

I’m kind of thinking about switching my 2.8 Kenne bell ( I have someone who wants to buy it ) for a gen4 but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I run 93/Boostane no e85
Put down 648 rwhp at 21. How much more can I possibly get with a gen 4 and pump gas?
I know it will be more efficient but again is it worth it. Have return fuel system, full exhaust all surpporting mods.

If you're happy with the car leave it alone. Trying to get the "latest and greatest" is just gonna drain your wallet and probably not give enough of a gain to make it worthwhile.

The 2.3 Whipple now has the Gen 3 rotors.

Whipples website seems lacking. No mention of what rotors designs are in the 2.3 now and the 2.9 still says gen3. If the new rotors add bit more boost and a guy looking for 18psi on straight pump fuel the 2.3 seems to be the better blower. Depending on elevation the 3.0” pulley on a 2.3 with the new rotors would hit 18-19psi. Sounds like it would be a very responsive blower at that boost. Plus be cheaper than a 2.9
