What an annoying f'in sounding car...That is enough reason NOT to own one that rides like a buckboard IMHO.

I love the looks of Vipers but the first one I heard running sounded like a damn Jeep with a hole in the muffler!!o_O

A V-10 will never sound like a V-8 which for me is the "Bench Mark Sound" of a Muscle Car!!;)

The rear exited exhaust vipers sound wicked when cammed.
I like the V10’s sound.

I'm sure the one I heard had a stock exhaust since your car sounds very good......"flyby" sounded nice!!:)

I just hope nobody changes lanes in front of you when you are traveling at MACH II......YIKES!!

Love that blue on the viper. Such a sick ride, paintless. Even though they sound like tractors, you know what they say...Nothing runs like a Deere! Haha. I think they sound great

I love the looks of the Vipers, but, I cannot get fond of the high pitched V10. I’ve heard 1-2 in person with a custom cam setup and an aggressive exhaust that had a deeper rumble, but, nothing like a crammed V8.

Both are badass cars and it seems that Vette driver had a slight driver disadvantage. Viper driver was badass and could bang those gears HARD!

Sounds fantastic, looks atrocious though.

I agree V10s have a very unique sound. Tbh best sounding exhaust is one with a whistle from turbos ;)

That is awesome.

People have different tastes. If it was affordable to me and made sense I would certainly buy the latest generation of Viper. They are killer cars and look incredible. Apparently, from the post above, they can sound great. Times are changing certainly but to make a car sound good from the factory you used to have to mod it in some way. Lately however, Ford and Chevy are putting out some great sounding machines straight from production line.
