Viper Alarm W/ Remote Start 791XV

I have a brand new, never opened Viper Alarm. My dad bought it at best buy for $499 a few months back and never put it on his car and now he decided he doesnt want it anyway. I dont want it on mine so I figured I would post it on here. It is brand new in the box, its just been sitting here collecting dust for a few weeks now. Ok this might be a stupid question but does the remote start operate on a manuel transmission?

It would mean you have to leave it in neutral when you park it.

I mean you can do it, but personally I wouldnt do that. A guy I work with did it so I know it works, but I dont like the idea of leaving my car neutral.
