These clips were shot at Milan dragway when I was out there for the Ford 100 year thing and the SVT experience. The car had a trunk full of luggage, stock tires, and my 14 year-old son riding shotgun on the 2nd run. I never raced before and it shows here for sure. I broke into the 12's but should really be in the 11's based on my mods. I did have a great time tryin' it out though.

If I ever learn how ta drive,...

Nice video. Ask your friends next time to get a shot at your ET and speed, though.

My "friend"/ son Billy was the videographer and I can't be too hard on him for that after making him stand out in the rain at Waterford Hills the day before- poor kid. After I edited the videos, I had to explain to Billy that there was a scoreboard on each side of the track, 1 for each car.

But yeah, a little experience on both our parts along with a tripod ought to make for a much better video. I'll see what I can do after I pick up some Nittos.

Cool to hear the kid screaming "yah" for his dad. Right on!

    Cool vid.

Why does everybody cover up the sound of those sweet engines with music.
No offense meant to you. Almost everybody does it.

    LET US HEAR THEM!!!

I'll keep that in mind for my next vid. These clips were actually a short excerpt from a longer video highlighting an open road race (Bonneville 100), Milan Dragstrip, and Waterford Race Course. There were many stills and relatively little video hence the Bonjovi soundtrack.
