Sex in terms of brakes...
soft core = disc size upgrades
hard core = 6-pot Alcons with the PBRs in the back
positively flaccid = pad choice.
Well, I have three sets of PowrPad Carbon Kevlar brake pads that I've been saving. They are supposed to be really good brakes, and easy on the rotors. However, I think they may not fit...I bought them as a race liquidation from a guy that had a 95 R model. I understand that there may have been a change in the piston size in the calipers from 38 mm on the 94-01 models, to 42 mm on the 03 models.
Can anyone verify this for me conclusively? If I can't use the brakes, I'll have to sell them...I don't need three sets of paperweights.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
