Value of a 96-98 32V engine?

What is one worth, assuming it has like 80-100k miles on it and ran when pulled?

What about if it has a rod knock or something, and needs a rebuild?

Can't be that much, can it?

I haven't followed the market on them but I would say 12-1400 running and 6-800 not running. The teskid blocks and cranks bring decent money by themselves, 4-450 each. There isn't much else of value on them though.
