These shots were taken this weekend during the air show. We have a photographer assigned to the team and he took these shots. Some are shot from the backseat of a "chase" F-16.

Awesome shots! And why the hell isn't the F-22 the Tbird jet of choice now? Everyone knows that jet is just an airshow piece...

The DOD wouldn't waste the money on having the one of the most advanced fighters in the Air Force's arsenal as a designated airshow piece. It'll make appearances at shows here and there but will never be used solely for flight demonstrations.

Same reason the Navy Blue Angel's fly the older version of the F/A-18 hornet instead of the new Superhornet... Winning wars is more important than doing cool stunts for crowds lol.

LoL the F-22 is useless and costs a shit ton of money. Might as well put it to good use:poke:

Hell maybe then the Tbirds could out shine the Blue Angels for once:coolman:

Useless??? Thrust vectoring, stealth... I'm active duty Navy and as much as I dislike the Air Force they hit a home run with that thing.

Don't want to derail thread. So I'll leave it at I'm AD AF and it is a colosal waste of money.

You're a IDIOT

This must be fake too since there is no way they can ride each others tails like that.

The F22 has been grounded since May, so imagine how many shows would have been cancelled because of that. It hasn't even been deployed to a real deployed location.

Currently I don't have any high res photos but once they are uploaded at work to the shared drive I should be able to get them.
I was briefed that one of the shots will be used as a "product shot" not sure how yet, but should be pretty cool.
