Just as another point of reference, I have run the FRPP Oval Throttle Body on my 2014 GT500 convertible mated to a Whipple 123MM CAI with no issues whatsoever for over a year and have experienced perfect street drivability and manners. Tasca Modshop installed the parts and provided a custom Tasca dyno tune. Of note, my FRPP monoblade was installed back on 10/2013. I am not disputing anything Van stated nor anyone else's experience. I simply wanted to provide some direct evidence as someone who has had zero issues with a FRPP oval throttle body. Dyno tune results from this performance configuration was 760RWHP (~870 crank HP) and 660 lb.ft. of torque. On a different note, I received my GT500 back from Tasca Modshop on 3/21/2015 from it's latest set of modifications. Specifically, I had installed Kooks 1-7/8-inch headers mated to a Kooks "Green" catted hi-flow H pipe (I know, I know - my engine will self destruct from a failure of the aftermarket cats and I am a complete idiot), a 3.75-inch (smaller - standard is 4.00-inch) supercharger pulley on my 4.0L Whipple, a 168MM Whipple monoblade throttle body mated to a JLT Super Big Air 155MM CAI, and a new custom Tasca dyno tune to handle this new performance configuration. Output was 842RWHP (~960 crank HP) and 750 lb.ft. of torque. The weather in Central New York is still crappy (it snowed yesterday and today - for crying out loud even us Central New Yorkers toughened-weather folks are crying "Foul"), so I haven't been able to take it for a cruise. It idles perfectly well if that counts for anything. This is in the "for what it is worth" column.
