Unlock BlackBerry 7290

I have an old Cingular blackberry 7290 I want to give to one of my employees, but we use T-Mobile as a provider. Does anyone know how to unlock one for free? I tried calling Cingular, but since we're not a customer they couldn't help.

Or you could try ebay, lots of people unlocking phones there.(for a fee of course)

Go into ebay, find person able to unlock from the IMEI and unlock it from Cingular. Rim has the OS for T-Mobile and if you use a program called javaloader you can rewrite the OS to T-Mobile and be good to go.

Any questions I can walk you through it. Done it on BB 8100's and an 8800. 7290 should be similar.
