undercoating and paint prep

hey out there! is there anybody who will answer my question about whether are not your going to have the dealer undercoat, and seal your paint. i have a 03 coming soon and would like some advise. if your not getting it undercoated or the paint sealed why not .

No, because both are unncessary and simply dealer profit packs. Car is already treated for rust and noise prevention - adding some dealer applied glop can actually make matters worse - read your current car's manual and it may even say so. In some cases, adding aftermarket can void factory corrosion warranty.

Sealer - what does that mean - there is no such thing, and it is just a fancy name for a wax or polish - read the contract - the stuff has to be re-applied - just like any other product. And by the time you try to claim, the paint is ruined so what good is it?

There are no miracles in a bottle in terms of finish prtection - quarterly, even monthly cleaning and polishing (waxing) are what it takes. Save your money.
