Hey guys, I've been working on this for the past couple months and have been talking with people on corral.net, but the issue is still happening and I feel like more eyes would be extremely beneficial.
The car is a manual swapped 4.3l (originally 3.8) 2000 v6 mustang.
The problems: Trying to get the mustang tuned with ported intakes, bank 1 is lean while bank 2 is rich, if you step on the gas the fuel trims start to equalize. Looking into this further, bank 1 is correct to be lean but bank 2 is rich because of a misfire in cylinder 4. When watching the tuner, you can see bank 2 is adding fuel while bank 1 is removing fuel. Things I have done:
Replaced O2 sensors twice
Plugged the bank 1 sensor into bank 2 while still in bank 1 (and vise versa), saw the fuel trim issue swap sides.
Replaced spark plugs
Replaced spark plug wires
Replaced coil pack
Replaced injectors
Replaced injector pig tail connectors
Smoked intake and plugged vacuum leaks
Cleaned maf
Replaced exhaust gaskets twice
Leakdown test - good
Compression test - good
New fuel in the tank
Replaced leaking EGR valve
At this time, all the spark plugs look good, except for plug 4 which looks rich and comes out wet with fuel.
If anyone has any input I would really appreciate it as I'm kind of lost at what to do next. Let me know if you have any questions.
