I traded my 2014 Roush for 2017 Roush RS3 track pac and I used Amsoil 5w-50 in the
2014 and Ford says to use 5w-20 in 2017. I have 8 quarts of 5w-50 Amsoil here and
Wanted to use it in 2017. Would it hurt my engine to run 5w-50 in the 2017?
Which oil viscosity would you recommend for my engine. I drive it 1500 miles a year
And do not track it just some spirited driving from time to time. Live in upstate SC.
I am concerned with all the talk about clicking, ticking etc. From some engines after
The first oil change. The 2018 engines according to guys on YouTube are acting
And sounding strangely. Some people say Roush recommends 5w-50 for all supercharged
Engines (true or not?). Ford does say in manual that if you use wrong viscosity it could void the warranty. I value your opinion. Also, can I use the larger Amsoil oil filter you recommended for the 2014. For the 2017 as well. Thanks
