Regardless of the supercharger system you pick for your ride, whether it be a Centrifugal or Root-Style unit, it’s got to have a pulley to spin the rotors/turbine inside the head unit to make boost. The pulley is what makes the whole system function, allowing as much boost as you want, depending on the size of the pulley. Of course, all pulleys are NOT equal. With some like Griptec’s that help promote better grip on the serpentine belt to limit belt slip under high boost conditions, a common issue on many supercharger kits.
